Le single de Macklemore « Hind’s Hall » (date de sortie officielle : 6 mai 2024) dénonce le génocide en cours à Gaza, la complicité des Etats-Unis, et rend hommage au mouvement de libération de la Palestine et au mouvement des universités né aux Etats-Unis et dans le monde à ce sujet.
Hind's Hall est le nom donné par le mouvement universitaire au Hamilton Hall de l'université Columbia à New-York, haut lieu des mouvements politiques radicaux, en hommage à Hind Rajab, une petite fille palestinienne de 6 ans qui a été tuée à Gaza par l'armée israéliennne dont l'histoire a fait le tour du monde. Le texte, qui s'ouvre par une citation de l'emblématique « Fuck tha police » de N.W.A est rapé sur un sample de la musique d'« Ana La Habibi » de Fairuz.
Les bénéfices du single, qui est diffusé sur les plateformes de streaming, vont à l'UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East / Office de secours et de travaux des Nations unies pour les réfugiés de Palestine dans le Proche-Orient).
